Michelle Krusiec on tonight’s Strong Medicine, 6/12

MK is on tonight’s episode (“Like Cures Like”) of Strong Medicine. It’s on LifetimeTV, Tuesday early early morning @ 1:30 am. I’ve never watched Strong Medicine. It’s one of those shows that I see on late night, think ‘wow it’s great to have a Latina as a lead character and it’s good to see the mom from Home Improvement working,’ and then I flip the channel–usually to Iron Chef or something more viscerally appealing. Hospital medical shows just don’t do it for me. I think the overstayed welcome of ER has ruined the entire medical show genre for me. I have to admit, though, that I’m fascinated by DiscoveryHealth programs. How can you not watch a show about 40lb tumors?
