A major motion picture “True North” is filmed in County Troms.
The Hollywood actors Sean Bean and Michelle Krusiec star the film
Bean had a leading role in the world success “Lord of the Rings” and Krusiec played in the James Bond movie “Tomorrow Never Dies”.
“True North” is a fable about indigenous peoples and intruders.
Michelle Krusiec has unforgettable memories from scenes shot at Svalbard.
- We slept on a boat because there is no hotel there and we were transported to the recording spots by boat, Michelle Krusiec says.
The story is about a woman who flees with her adoptive daughter from soldiers and intruders.
The total motion picture budget is 56 million NOK; 15 million will be used at the Film Camp in the town of Malselv in County Troms.
